The SwiftKey keyboard app for Android has now been updated. The Android beta 5.3 update will bring an adaptive keyboard layout for languages such as Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi. With the update, one should also have an easier and smoother experience in typing in the previously mentioned languages.
The new layout of Swiftkey brings with it a feature that changes the top row of vowels so that they are contextually relevant. The update has also included local as well as roman numerals on the number pad, making it more intuitive as a result.
As a result of this move, the total number of supported languages on the app are now 22. Out of these 13 are already on the app, and the additional ones are Kashmiri, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Sanskrit, Manipuri, Santali, Sindhi and Konkani.
Also, the settings menu and Swiftkey store have been redesigned and relocated to a more convenient spot. In order to be able to download this app, one must join the Swiftkey Beta for Android Google group. After this, it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
