In 10 years, you may be able to flirt with your computer
Google is working on new algorithms that may lead within a decade to computers that can think, converse, or even flirt, The Guardian reports.
The algorithms, known as thought vectors, would work by turning
thoughts into number sequences, leading to machines that have “common
sense,” scientists say. It turns out that creating flirtatious
computers, such as seen in the film Her, may be relatively easy; the challenge will be fashioning ones able to grasp irony. Looks like any Seinfeld binges you had planned with your new artificial intelligence friends will just have to wait.
