5. Drive Traffic to Your Website
You need traffic to your website in order to drive people into your marketing funnel.
- Unique Quality Content – Press releases, industry niche articles, and long blog posts are great tools to generate website traffic. Make sure to provide internal links within the content to drive further traffic to relevant articles, products, and services.
- Keyword Strategy – As I’ve said before, you need to know your keywords in order for the search engines to know what your content is about. Insert related keywords throughout your website and be sure to use synonyms and plural variations of those words.
- Website and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – (You knew I was going to get here sooner or later, right?) If your website isn’t optimized for both the humans and search engines, no one will ever want to visit the website.
- Social Media Optimization – Do your research and pick a few social media networks that you can commit to engage on. Use video, pictures, and other content to not only share your own content, but also engage with your network.
